City of god shot changes
In the city of god to show changes to another year or time there is a change of the shot either a swivel to the next scene or a fade out or in.the first one we see is when the boy is stood in the middle of the street and the camera swivels anti-clockwise to show it is going back in time and goes back to when the teenager is a young boy. we know we have gone back in time because the colour in the scene changes and the music changes and become more upbeat and the colour changes to a bright bronze.the second one is when a child gets older and i firing a gun and each time he fires his gun there is a flash and after the flash he has got a little bit older until he is an adult. showing his life of crime as a child through to adulthood.the second flashback is going forward and the first flashback is going backwards. they are both showing changes in age and time.
Target audience
For our short film we have to look at several different target audiences because there are going to be so many in our film. the audiences we will look at are: children, teenagers, young adults, middle aged and the elderly. this is because we are looking at a person's life we have to show different points in his life and the audience he represents.
